Woe is me
After a fantastic first week here in stunning Leon, I seem to have caught a nasty cold (not covid, I checked!), and I'm not at all dramatic about it...
After being sent home from school this morning to recuperate, I have been stuck inside all day, which is a shame as it is nice and sunny outside at the moment.
This weekend my family came to visit, and I was super excited to take them around Leon to the places I have discovered. My mum particularly enjoyed a wine bar we all like to frequent here called Jamon Jamon.
We went to watch the parade of the last day of the Carnival here in Leon yesterday evening. It was authentically interesting, if not a little terrifying as at one point a man ran at Hannah with large metal scissor things as part of his act.
I am now thinking up various lesson plan ideas for the rest of this week. I am teaching all ages, from 7-18, so I am still learning the correlating levels of English in each class. So far I have only had 2 classes twice!
